What is life coaching anyway?
Life coaching involves self discovery, goal setting and goal ACHIEVING. It’s about figuring out who you really are, what you were really created for and making a plan to get you doing it. If you’ve reached a transition point in life, if you’re tired of being stuck or if you’re just ready to up your game, life coaching is for you!
What kind of goals can we work on?
Whatever you can come up with. Some areas worth considering are personal, relational, professional, spiritual, health, hobbies. The sky’s the limit!
So you’re an expert in all those fields and you’ve got all the answers on how to be successful?
Nope. That’s what a consultant does. I don’t know your life or business (yet). I don’t have the answers. Know what I have? Tools and strategies to discover the you-est version of you, get some joy and creativity pumping again, dig up some old dreams you may have given up on, get you unstuck, find your purpose and come up with steps to get you living it.
What about all the issues I have and struggles I’m going through right now?
Sounds like you need a therapist. (Big fan of therapy, by the way. Been in it for years. And if that’s what you need, I’ve got some excellent recommendations.) Therapy can help you process stuff and bring healing. Coaching is really about making a plan and blazing a trail forward. So when you’re ready for a plan, just let me know!
So how long will this take?
The idea here is for me to coach myself out of a job. During the coaching process, you’ll learn how to coach yourself, identify and overcome obstacles, set goals, devise a plan of action and start living life to the fullest. I typically work with clients in three-month increments, with the option of renewing the contract, if needed.
